REMINDER: Constitutional Amendment Election – November 5th

A reminder that today is the final day of early voting for the 2019 General Election on November 5th. After today, you will have cast your ballot on election day, which includes 10 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. Most notably will be Proposition 8, which will create the Flood Infrastructure Fund to assist in financing of drainage, flood mitigation and flood control projects. If approved, the new fund will be allocated $793 Million from the Rainy-Day Fund to be available for qualifying projects. ACEC Texas and several PPC member firms have donated to support the Stronger Texas Political Action Committee, which is designed to promote Prop. 8. More information on Prop. 8 can be found here.
