We are pleased to have Lee Marlowe, the Sustainable Landscape Ecologist with the San Antonio River Authority present Stormwater Solutions: Low Impact Development Projects and Resources at our Sept. chapter meeting.

A variety of stormwater solutions exist to slow and clean stormwater prior to discharging into area streams. A variety of these solutions are being implemented in San Antonio to meet project goals for capturing and treating targeted stormwater volumes in order to provide water quality benefits. Lee's presentation will provide an overview of the stormwater challenges we face in San Antonio and the key on-site permanent stormwater BMPs that are being constructed in our area. Local project examples and available resources will be highlighted.

Ms. Marlowe is a restoration ecologist with over 19 years of professional experience working in the field of ecological restoration and natural resource management including sustainable landscape practices and applications.
